Technology in Racket Sports: What Works, What Doesn't, and What's Next

Every club is being sold software. Not every club knows which ones are worth it — or why the ones they already have are underperforming.

This session cuts through the noise.

David Pyrzenski, founder of CourtMatch.ai, has spent years watching racket sports facilities adopt technology that promised to solve their problems and deliver results that fell short of the pitch. He has also seen the tools that actually move the needle — the ones members love, use consistently, and talk about.

West Coast Webinar — From Tennis Pro to Director: What It Actually Takes to Lead a Racket Sports Program

Juan Garcia walked through what actually separates a teaching pro from a head pro from a director of racket sports, and the honest answer is that they are different jobs, not the same job with a bigger title. Being a strong teacher does not automatically make someone a strong head pro, and being a strong head pro does not automatically make someone ready to run a program. Director of racket sports now functions close to a VP or even CEO level role inside a club, with budgets, staffing, and strategy rather than just lessons on the court.

West Coast Webinar — Building a Racket Sports Budget That Actually Works: 2026 Online Forum (Chat & Chew)

Every fall, racket sports directors face the same conversation. Someone hands them a spreadsheet and asks them to justify every line item, or asks them to build one from scratch with no template and no benchmark.

This Chat & Chew is for the professionals who have been through that meeting and want to walk into next year's version better prepared. Join us for an open, practical conversation about building a racket sports departmental budget that reflects the real costs of running a program, communicates value to ownership and leadership, and holds up under scrutiny.
