The Country Club of Sapphire Valley www.ccsapphirevalley.org, one of the premier clubs in North Carolina, is searching for its next Director of Racquet Sports. The current Director is retiring after 22 years of service and much success. This club enjoys a position of significance in the mountain community with amenities including tennis, pickleball, croquet, golf, fitness and dining venue options. There is an excellent leadership team and a membership reputation of, “friendliness club on the plateau.”

The Director of Racquet Sports leads day-to-day tennis operations and collaborates with the Pickleball Professional. The successful candidate will be adaptable and versatile, someone who fits into the unique, team-oriented culture at CCSV, and should possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. The DRS will be responsible for all aspects of the operations, including oversight of court maintenance, grounds and buildings in a manner that reflects the mission of the club. The club is operational from mid-April to early November with the new Director starting in 2025.

The ideal candidate should be an engaging, charismatic and energetic Professional with advanced tennis and pickleball playing skills. This opportunity requires experience organizing and leading racquets programs and current certifications by USPTA, PTR, PPR or IPTPA.

Compensation includes salary commensurate on qualifications and experience, bonus, commissions from lessons and clinics, benefits including professional dues, continuing education, uniforms and other fringe benefits.
