adidas extends CLIMACOOL rollout to tennis with US Open debut

Running, football, now tennis: CLIMACOOL is turning up everywhere. adidas has extended its cooling platform to the US Open, the latest stop in a rollout that has touched three sports in 2026 and marks 25 years since the technology first appeared in running footwear.

New Broomfield club for pickleball, padel and squash

The Three Rackets will be a 34,000-square-foot facility that combines pickleball, padel and squash, making it one of few sports clubs where all the sports have courts under one roof.

The Three Rackets will have five indoor padel courts, five indoor pickleball courts and three indoor squash courts and will offer a mix of activities including coaching, leagues and social spaces, as well as dining. Read more.

Babolat renews exclusive 4PADEL equipment supply deal for four years

Babolat and 4PADEL have announced that they are extending their agreement for another four years and entering a new phase of their partnership. The announcement was made during the inauguration of the 4PADEL Sain-Priest, near Lyon. Babolat will therefore remain the official and exclusive equipment supplier of the 4PADEL network. The two French companies have been partners since 2018. Read more.

Grand Opening of the Queenswood Tennis Centre

Hundreds of visitors gathered on Saturday 19 September for the grand opening of the Queenswood Tennis Centre – the largest red-court facility in the UK.

Queenswood Tennis Centre is at Brookmans Park in Hatfield (UK), about 20 miles north of London.

About the New Courts

Eight Red Plus clay courts were built with a £600,000 LTA investment, alongside substantial Queenswood funding. Red Plus contains real Italian clay and is playable all year round, replicating tour-level clay conditions. The new installation forms part of a wider facility of 27 all-weather courts. Read more.
