Deutscher Tennis Bund (DTB), the German National Governing Body, has created a separate department for all racquet sports similar to tennis, thus consolidating its commitment to and the development of Padel, Pickleball, and Beach Tennis with an expanded team. The DTB Board issued the Olympic mandate for Padel in 2022 and for Pickleball in 2025.
